Suspicious Vehicle Report Leads To Drug Arrest: Cranford Cops
Marawan Ahmed was charged with possession.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 24-year-old Clark man was arrested and charged with possession of prescription legend drugs, possession of under 50g of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after a suspicious vehicle investigation on Jan. 30, police said.
According to authorities, police units were dispatched to a reported suspicious vehicle parked behind a business on the 1200 block of Raritan Road. Following an investigation at the scene, Patrolman Ryan Gerrity arrested the driver, Marawan Ahmed, for suspected percocet and marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said.
Ahmed was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date, police said.
