Three New Cranford Businesses Celebrated

A trio of new businesses had ribbon cuttings in Downtown Cranford.

CRANFORD, NJ - The only thing hotter than the summer weather is the summer business prospects in Cranford as a trio of new businesses celebrated grand openings.

Cranford Bakery and Desserts, Witch Baby Soap, and Cranford Station House, all had official ribbon cuttings with Mayor Patrick Giblin, Township Commissioner and DMC Liaison Jean Maisonneuve, and DMC Director Gabe Bailer.

Cranford Bakery and Desserts, as the name implies, sells krispie treats, specialty cakes, gummies, napoleons and more.

Chelsea Selby started Witch Baby Soap, a company that specializes in handcrafted vegan and cruelty free beauty products, in her Kenilworth kitchen in 2013. Now, the self-described Head-Witch-In-Charge opened a brick and mortar location at 11 Eastman Street in Cranford.

The Cranford Station House opened Monday, July 8 offering a new place for breakfast, brunch and lunch in the Cranford area. According to officials, the business will be a BYOB establishment Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
