CRANFORD, NJ — Meet Tico and Wilfred! They have been chosen as Cranford Patch's Pet Of The Week.

"Tico is an 11-year-old Silky Terrier who lives in Cranford. We adopted him as a puppy from a foster family that helps find homes for rescued dogs.

Tico loves to smile, sit on people’s feet, sleep on big soft fluffy pillows, lay on warm laundry, snack on carrots, sit by the river, and go on canoe and bike rides. Having two photographers in the family, he is always ready to pose for photos. His signature look is his little pink tongue that he always sticks out.

Wilfred, AKA Willy, is Tico’s brother and is a 4-year-old guinea pig. He’s more energetic than Tico and loves to run around in circles in his cage. He’s very affectionate and loves to have his fur brushed. Like Tico, he loves carrots and squeals for one whenever he hears the refrigerator door open!"
