Tinted Windows Lead To Drug Arrest: Cranford Police

Ahmed Golson had a THC vape cartridge, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 21-year-old Hillside man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on March 11.

According to authorities, Patrolman Timothy Handy stopped a 2010 Honda on Raritan Road and Coleman Avenue for tinted windows. Following an investigation on scene, Handy arrested the driver, Ahmed Golson, for a suspected THC vape cartridge found inside the vehicle, police said.

He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for tinted windows, unclear plates and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
