Tinted Windows Lead To Ecstasy Arrest: Cranford Police

Tarell Walker was arrested after a motor vehicle stop, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - A 35-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of under 50g of marijuana after a motor vehicle stop on June 14, according to the Cranford Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrolman Greg Federici stopped a 2011 Infiniti on Centennial Avenue and Raritan Road for having tinted windows. Following an investigation on scene, Federici arrested the driver, Tarell Walker, for possession of suspected ecstasy and marijuana found inside the vehicle, police said.

He was processed and provided with a Superior Court appearance date. In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for tinted windows and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
