Two Charged With Heroin Possession: Cranford Police

Sean Nightengale and Thomas Bradian were arrested after a motor vehicle stop, police said.

CRANFORD, NJ - Two men were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on March 13, according to the Cranford Police Department.

According to authorities, Patrolman Timothy Handy stopped a 2015 Honda on Raritan Road and Coleman Avenue for a seatbelt violation.

Following an investigation on scene, Handy arrested the driver, 34-year-old Sean Nightengale from Linden and the passenger, 48-year-old Thomas Bradian from Roselle for suspected heroin found inside the vehicle, police said.

They were processed and provided with Superior Court appearance dates.

In addition, Nightengale was issued motor vehicle summonses for a seatbelt violation, careless driving, suspended driver and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
