Uninsured Driver Charged With Possession: Cranford Police
Quintin McDonald was arrested after being stopped for speeding, police said.
CRANFORD, NJ - A 19-year-old Rahway man was arrested and charged with posession of marijuana under 50g and possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on March 1, according to the Cranford Police Department.
According to authorities, Patrolman Nelson Hearns stopped a 1999 Lexus on Walnut Avenue and Blake Avenue for speeding. Following an investigation on scene, Hearns arrested the driver, Quintin McDonald, for suspected marijuana
found inside the vehicle, police said. He was processed and provided with a Municipal Court appearance date.
In addition, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding, tinted windows, no insurance and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, police said.
