Union County Forum On Pediatric COVID Vaccines Posted Online

An open discussion held by Union County health officials and experts about pediatric COVID vaccines is available for viewing online.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — A recent Pediatric COVID Vaccine Forum held with Summit, Westfield, and other Union County health officials, doctors, and experts can now be viewed online.

Parents in the area were invited to take part in the webinar and ask questions. The webinar also included information and slides about how many kids tested positive for COVID at various points in the pandemic, how mRNA vaccines work, how to get vaccinated locally, and other information about youth COVID trends.

Currently, kids under 12 cannot get the vaccines for COVID, but kids 12-18 can get the Pfizer vaccine, and people 18 and over have a choice of COVID vaccines.
