WESTFIELD AREA Y HOSTS POCKETBOOK BINGO TO BENEFIT THE ANNUAL SUPPORT CAMPAIGN

The Westfield Area Y is hosting Pocketbook Bingo to benefit the Y’s Annual Support Campaign on Thursday, April 21st from 7:00-9:30 pm in the Main Y Gym, 220 Clark Street in Westfield.

Members and the community are welcome for this great Ladies Night Out!A contribution of $35 benefits the Y’s direct financial assistance program and includes 10 games of Bingo (four faces per game), a door prize ticket, dessert & coffee. Pocketbooks have retail values of $119-$558 and include Michael Kors, Coach, Ralph Lauren, Vera Bradley, Kate Spade, Halston and Dooney & Bourke. A 50/50, raffle for additional pocketbooks and extra games and daubers will be available. Participants can bring their own hors d'oeuvres.

Thanks to the Y’s Annual Support Campaign, no one who lives or works in Cranford, Garwood, Mountainside or Westfield and is experiencing a bona fide financial hardship is turned away for the inability to pay, whether due to unemployment, poor health or other circumstances. The Y provides over $400,000 per year in direct financial assistance primarily to enable youth participation in child care, summer day camp, sports and aquatic programs.

In the event of a tie, winners will receive the retail value of the pocketbook in the form of Westfield Area Y Gift Cards.
