Winners Announced in Free Parking Drawing as Part of Restaurant Week

The contest is part of Westfield's Restaurant Week activities.

The Downtown Westfield Corporation (DWC) announced last month that as part of Restaurant week, diners would have the chance to enter a random drawing to win one up to 50 hours of free parking.

The winners of the contest are Denise Sherwood of Westfield, Kim Bober of Cranford, Courtney Teicher of Scotch Plains, and Izabella Zeldich of Edison.

These winners will each receive a $25 parking card to enhance their shopping and dining experiences in Westfield. Westfield parking cards can be used in any lot or metered on-street spot. With rates of $.25 per 30 minutes in lots and $.25 per 20 minutes at on-street meters, the winners will enjoy up to 50 hours free.

“Congratulations to our winners, said Sherry Cronin, Executive Director of the DWC. “We are happy to offer them free parking cards to help make their experience in Westfield even more enjoyable.”

Entry for the drawing was completed exclusively online and open to the general public during Restaurant Week, which ran for two weeks from Sunday, February 17 to Thursday, February 28 (excluding Friday and Saturday).

According to Jamie Lemberg, DWC Online Marketing Manager, “We are always looking for ways to improve our downtown events and increase awareness to our events using traditional methods as well as social media. This drawing was a way to engage people in Restaurant Week and give them a great reason to come back downtown.”

The next Restaurant Week will be held September 29 – October 10, 2013. For more information, please call the DWC 908.789.9444 or visit www.westfieldtoday.com.
