Health screenings for Cranford residents start next Thursday.

CRANFORD, NJ - Take the guesswork out of your health status beginning Thursday as the Madison Health Department, which serves Madison, Chatham Township, Springfield and Cranford, are launching their 2019 Adult Health Screenings for residents.

Two sessions of the Adult Health Screening/CMP Blood Testing will be held in March for residents who are served by the Madison Health Department. Those 18 years of age and older are invited to ‘Know Their Numbers’ for cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose, and several other values measured in the Complete Metabolic Profile (CMP). This blood analysis is a fasting test and appointments are required. Individual blood pressure and additional health information will be available at the screening. The screening session will be held on:

In addition to the Adult Health Screening/CMP Blood Testing, Madison Health Department will be holding a Men’s Cancer Screening, which covers testicular, prostate, and colo-rectal examinations. This yearly check-up is recommended for all men starting at 40-50 years old. This screening will be held on:

These screening are free of charge to residents served by the Madison Health Department.
