Deirdre’s House, Morris County’s designated child advocacy center, invites community members, partners, and supporters to attend its upcoming Child Abuse Prevention Month Open House on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM.
This special event offers guests an opportunity to tour Deirdre’s House, meet the dedicated professionals who serve children and families, and learn more about the critical work being done to prevent child abuse and support healing in our community.
Attendees will enjoy guided tours of the facility, providing insight into how Deirdre’s House creates a safe, child-friendly environment for coordinated investigations and services. Staff members will be available throughout the event to answer questions and share information about programs, partnerships, and ways the public can get involved.
The Open House is free to attend. A complimentary lunch will be provided, creating a welcoming space for conversation and connection among community members, advocates, and stakeholders.

Deirdre’s House is celebrating 30 years of providing child victims with hope, healing, and justice. Since opening our doors in 1996, Deirdre’s House has had over 60,000 child victims. Deirdre’s House is dedicated to coordinating the investigation, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse in a safe, child-friendly environment.
