Newman &amp; Oltman Guitar Duo, comprising Raritan River Music co-founding directors Laura Oltman and Michael Newman, take us on a journey of Revolutionary-era music from Europe and the newly-forming American nation.&nbsp;
Musical and other cultural connections abound: music by Haydn was first presented in America in the Moravian community of nearby Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Mozart’s librettist Lorenzo da Ponte came from Italy to live in Elizabeth, New Jersey; the venue for this concert, Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, was founded in the hamlet of Grandin (Hunterdon County) in 1730 and was influential in the community throughout the 18th century.

Price for single concert is $30; Series is $100.
If you purchase an Online Stream ticket, a YouTube link to the streaming video of the concert will be emailed to you the morning following the concert. That YouTube link will be for you to stream a recording of the concert, available to view Sunday through Wednesday following each concert.
Please be assured that if you purchase a ticket for the venue and decide for any reason to stay home, we will exchange that ticket for the link to the online stream for that concert.

Step inside the 1776 world where our small corner of New Jersey helped shape the fate of a nation — from militia riders, spies, the Sons of Liberty, taverns, and Patriot networks to the secret intelligence routes and the families who stood their ground throughout Hunterdon, Mercer and Somerset County's.
*On Sunday, May 31 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM - This Sacred Soil&nbsp; Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear Storyteller, Author, and Suffrage Historian Nancy Kennedy reveal the women who helped win the Revolution — and the extraordinary New Jersey Colony law (1776–1807) that allowed women and Black men to cast their ballots in political elections.
