2022 Gingerbread House Contest Begins In East Brunswick

A public vote will be held from Dec. 16 – 22 and the gingerbread house with the most votes will be declared the winner.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Annual Gingerbread House Contest begins Monday in East Brunswick. If you couldn’t participate last year, here’s your chance to show your creativity.

Families can pick up gingerbread house kits from the Recreation Office at 9 a.m. Each family will be given one kit. Around 108 kits are currently available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must submit your name and email address while picking up the kit.

The winning gingerbread house will receive a gift basket from the township.

Once the gingerbread house is complete take a photo and email it to recreation@eastbrunswick.org by Dec. 14.

All submissions will be posted on the Township’s website and a public vote will be held from Dec. 16 – 22. The gingerbread house with the most votes will be declared the winner.

If you don't have a kit from the Recreation Department, you can still participate if you have your own. Rules are the same.
