32-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed In East Brunswick Crash

Matthew H. Brunner, an East Brunswick resident was killed when a vehicle struck him, police said. Investigation is on.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A 32-year-old pedestrian was killed in a crash in East Brunswick, the police department said.

On Sept. 1, around 8:16 p.m., East Brunswick Police Officers responded to the intersection of Cranbury Road and Henly Drive for the report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.

Matthew H. Brunner, an East Brunswick resident was critically injured and pronounced dead, police said. The driver and passenger of the vehicle were uninjured and remained at the scene of the crash, according to authorities.

The cause of the crash is currently being investigated by Ptl. Patrick Lem of the East Brunswick Police Department Special Operations Section. Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, no further information was released by the police department.
