90-Year-Old Man Crashes After Driving Wrong Way on Turnpike in Middlesex County

Anthony Ziemba, of Toms River, was driving south in the northbound lane when he crashed in Woodbridge, according to nj.com.

A missing Toms River man crashed into a construction zone in Woodbridge after driving the wrong way on the New Jersey Turnpike late Sunday night, nj.com reports.

It’s unclear how Anthony Ziemba, 90, began driving south in the northbound lanes, according to the report. He crashed into construction debris at milepost 8 around 10:41 p.m.

He was not charged in the accident and he didn’t suffer life-threatening injuries, but he was transported to a local hospital, according to the report.
