A Summertime Serenade

The classic sounds of Sidewalk Serenade filled the air Saturday.

Familiar songs from the 1950’s-70’s filled the air at the amphitheater at the Community Arts Center on Saturday, July 30, as Sidewalk Serenade, an oldies vocal group, pus on a free performance for the public.

The event is the final performance in a summer concert series sponsored by East Brunswick Township. Music will include everything from Doo-wop to Motown to classic rock.

The turnout for the township’s summer series has been great so far, said Jeff Litt, East Brunswick Township recreation supervisor. Approximately 850 people attended the first concert, while 350 people were at the second, he said.
