Armed Robbery At East Brunswick Walgreens
Breaking: The suspects showed the pharmacist a gun and demanded prescription pills shortly before 2 a.m. today, police said.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Walgreens on Ryders Lane in East Brunswick was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning, and East Brunswick police released these security stills of the suspects. The pharmacy is open 24 hours and the men showed the pharmacist a gun and demanded prescription pills shortly before 2 a.m. today.
At approximately 1:41 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, East Brunswick police were called to the Walgreens at 421 Ryders Lane for a 911 call of a shoplifting. Two men, a light-skinned Hispanic or black male and the other a black or Hispanic male with a beard, entered the store and walked towards the pharmacy counter. Once at the counter, one man lifted his sweatshirt to show the handle of a handgun to the pharmacist and demanded prescription medicine. The pharmacist handed over a number of pills and the men ran out of the store in an unknown direction.
