Police investigated a bomb threat made Monday morning to Memorial middle school in Spotswood.

SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Police are investigating a bomb threat made Monday morning to Memorial middle school in Spotswood, NJ.

The bomb threat was made over the Internet. There was a shelter in place at Memorial and the building was then evacuated, the superintendent's office told Patch. The police investigated and searched the building, and found no viable threat. As of 10:45 a.m., all the students at Memorial are now back in class.

Only Memorial Middle School was evacuated, the district said.
