Car Break-Ins Now Reported In South River, South Brunswick
Summertime car break-ins have now been reported in many towns surrounding East Brunswick: South River, North Brunswick and South Brunswick.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Summertime car break-ins have now been reported in many towns surrounding East Brunswick: South River, North Brunswick and South Brunswick.
South River has seen several motor vehicle burglaries so far this July, the department announced Thursday. Suspects appear to be going into unlocked vehicles during the overnight hours or early morning hours. Items taken include loose change and small electronics. The burglaries have occurred throughout the borough and are confined to any specific area.
Starting in the beginning of June, South Brunswick has been hit by a spree of up to 13 car burglaries, and police think the same suspect or suspects may be committing all of them. The car burglaries all occurred during the overnight hours in residential areas of Kendall Park and Monmouth Junction.
