13 Car Break-Ins In South Brunswick So Far This Summer

Cars are mainly being entered through unlocked doors, but some windows have been smashed when valuable property is left exposed. A suspect:

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Starting in June, there has been an increase in car burglaries in South Brunswick Twp., police report.

In total, thirteen cars have been entered. The car burglaries all occurred during the overnight hours in residential areas of Kendall Park and Monmouth Junction. A suspect from one of the car burglaries in Kendall Park was seen on surveillance footage and is pictured here.

The break-in spree started in the beginning of June. Cars are mainly being entered through unlocked doors, police said, but some car windows have been smashed when valuable property is left in the open and in eyesight. Police think there is one suspect behind all the break-ins, who stole purses, change, wallets, gift cards, credit cards, laptop computer and personal documents.
