Coalition for Peace Action to Hold Hiroshima Commemoration Tuesday Night
The event begins at 7 p.m. at Albert Hinds Plaza in Princeton, with a moment of silence at 7:15 p.m.

The Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) will commemorate the bombing at Hiroshima Tuesday night in Princeton.
The commemoration takes place at Albert Hinds Plaza in Princeton, 7 p.m. There will be a moment of silence at 7:15 p.m., which is 8:15 a.m. Aug. 6, corresponding with the exact time the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.
Albert Hinds Plaza is located next to the Princeton Public Library on Witherspoon Street.

Princeton University Research Physicist and 2014 Linus Pauling Legacy Award Winner Dr. Zia Mian will speak at the event.
Liz Cohen will lead folding of paper cranes, the Japanese symbol of peace.

The Solidarity Swingers of the New Jersey Industrial Union Council and Glenn Swann will perform music. Glenn Swann will play theshakuhachi (Japanes flute)
A BYO Picnic (no alcohol) will take place prior to the commemoration, at 6 p.m. Rain site for both the picnic and commemoration is the Community Room at Princeton Public Library.
