Upon seeing the officers, he again fled and ran into the wooded area behind Dunkin Donuts. Officers located him hiding in some bushes and ordered him to come out but he refused their commands. He was removed from the bushes and physically resisted arrest. He was subsequently taken into custody.

Cureton was charged with resisting arrest and obstruction. He was transported to the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in lieu of $2,500.00 bail. He also had an outstanding warrant for $464.00 out of East Brunswick. He had admitted to running from the officers because of his outstanding warrant.
