Council Meeting In East Brunswick Monday: What To Expect

It's a busy week in East Brunswick. See what's on the council agenda:

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — It's a busy week ahead In East Brunswick as the council, planning board, Arts Commission and Recreation & Parks Advisory Board will be meeting.

First up is the council meeting on April 11. On the agenda is a resolution for a shared service agreement with New Brunswick regarding the Burnet Street bridge water main project. There's also a resolution authorizing a shared service agreement between the township and the East Brunswick Board of Education.

The agreement is for "services that are mutually beneficial, supportive, and cost-effective to both parties." The township has agreed to provide capital funding to approved projects in the school district. In return, the township will be permitted to use the school district facilities for recreational programs, outlines the resolution.
