Curbside Freecycling Days, sponsored by the Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission, will be held at residential addresses throughout East Brunswick on Saturday, Oct. 26, and Sunday, Oct. 27. Township residents may register their addresses and merchandise they are offering by filling out this online form, also found at friendsebec.com.
The registration deadline is 6 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25.
Due to steady rain on the scheduled Fall Freecycling date last month, the event was rescheduled as a curbside event. First introduced during the COVID lockdown period in 2020, curbside freecycling proved a popular alternative to the outdoor parking lot venue when groups could not safely gather. This model has also been used in other New Jersey communities.

The locations will be organized by “zones” formerly designated by the township for refuse collection. Only township addresses may be registered.
