Dates Announced For 1st Annual East Brunswick Days of Giving

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — If you're looking for an opportunity to support a local nonprofit, here's your chance. The Township recently announced the dates for the first Annual East Brunswick Days of Giving.

From Oct. 1-Oct. 7, the community will be able to show their support to a local non-profit of their choice.

The event is virtual. Residents can log on, read about a non-profit, and make a donation through the platform of their choice.

The East Brunswick Recreation Department will open a central website for donors to navigate all the non-profits involved. Nonprofits who wish to participate in the program, will need to submit a description of the organization and let the community know how and where they will spend the funds that care collected. They will need to submit a direct link to include with the description so donors can make their donation.

Any East Brunswick non-profit wishing to be part of this virtual event can sign up using this link.

Registration must be completed by Sept. 8.

For nonprofits, here are the requirements for participation:

• Organization must be based in East Brunswick
• Be able to submit proof of non-profit status
• Have a link for donors to directly donate to the organization (e.g., Website, GoFundMe, Crowdfunding, Facebook, Paypal, Venmo)
