Drum-Off Competition Begins Tonight

It isn’t just about guitars at the on Route 18. It’s also about great music.

Tonight 7 p.m. tonight, the Guitar Center will hold the preliminary round of its Drum-Off Competition.

The competition’s preliminaries run Sept. 20 to Sept 27, with store finals Oct. 4. Sign-ups are open until the last preliminary.

The grand prize includes $25,000 cash, a trip to New York to record at the Converse Rubber Tracks Studio, a custom drum kit, endorsement deals and more. The nationwide search is the national chain's search for the next great undiscovered drummer. Guitar Center has 220 stores throughout the U.S.
