East Brunswick Day Will To Be Held Oct. 9 Due To Ian Remnants
This year, organizers have scheduled several performances that will represent the cultural diversity of the township.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The 8th Annual East Brunswick Day will now be held on Oct. 9, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Community Arts Center.
The celebrations, earlier planned for Oct. 2 were canceled as remnants of Hurricane Ian hit the Garden State bringing heavy rains, downed trees and wires and road closures.
The annual East Brunswick Day showcases the township's businesses, education programs, health & wellness, and multicultural and civic organizations. expect lots of entertainment, family activities, food vendors and more, making for a great family-friendly outing.

Meanwhile, more rain, gusty winds and flooding is expected in New Jersey, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS predicts rain will continue through Wednesday night.
