East Brunswick Extends Tax Grace Period To June 1
On Monday, East Brunswick approved an emergency resolution that allows property taxpayers to extend the grace period for the May 1 due date.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — On Monday, the Mayor and Township Council of East Brunswick approved an emergency resolution that allows property taxpayers in the township to extend the grace period for the May 1, 2020 property tax bill.
The grace period which would have ordinarily been May 11, 2020 is now officially extended to June 1, 2020.
This change is permitted by Executive Order No. 130 from Governor Murphy and applies only to the May 1, 2020 tax bill.

"We hope that this will allow a little more time for those with significant financial hardships and/or those waiting for unemployment during this most unprecedented time," said East Brunswick Twp.
