East Brunswick Is Hosting A Gingerbread House Contest

Showcase your creativity and Gingerbread skills in this fun contest. Kits are available.

EAST BRUNSWICk, NJ – If you love making Gingerbread houses during the holiday season, then this could be an event for you. East Brunswick is hosting a contest this holiday season, where you can show your creativity and Gingerbread skills.

The East Brunswick Education Association and East Brunswick Arts Commission is hosting the contest. Families can pick up their Gingerbread house kits from the Recreation Department Office at 334 Durhams Corner Road, beginning Nov. 29, 9 a.m. to 4: 30 p.m.

The kits have been donated by the East Brunswick Education Association. Once the family completes its gingerbread house, they can email a picture to the Recreation Department at recreation@eastbrunswick.org.

The pictures need to be emailed by Dec. 12 for inclusion in this year’s contest. The supply of Gingerbread Kits is limited to the first 136 people.

Voting will take place from Dec. 14- 21, the house with the most votes wins the contest.
