East Brunswick PD Will Host Citizen Police Academy In October
Participants will learn about the inner workings of the East Brunswick Police Department and gain a better understanding of law enforcement.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - The East Brunswick Police Department will be hosting a Citizen Police Academy beginning on Oct. 19, through Nov. 16.
The academy will be held Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for six sessions, at the East Brunswick Police Training Facility, 23 Harts Lane.
The Citizen Police Academy is open to East Brunswick residents and business owners 18 years of age or older.

There will be demonstrations and activities which will be instructed by various members of the East Brunswick Police Department and will include information on crime prevention and neighborhood watch groups, gun safety, terrorism, computer crimes and the Internet, crime scene investigation, patrol techniques, and demonstrations from SWAT team, Motorcycle Officers and more.
Participants will learn about the inner workings of the East Brunswick Police Department and gain a better understanding of law enforcement and how they can help police keep the community safe.

The academy has a limited amount of seats, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All attendees must submit to and pass a brief background check.
Registration and application must be submitted no later than Monday, Oct. 2. The course is free for all residents.
