East Brunswick Police Give Tickets To Kids For Good Behavior
Starting tomorrow, June 15, East Brunswick police will be looking for kids wearing their helmets or just plain being nice to others.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — This summer East Brunswick kids will once again have the chance to earn a free Slurpee while having positive interactions with law enforcement officers from the East Brunswick police department.
Starting tomorrow, June 15, East Brunswick police officers will “ticket” juveniles by rewarding them for good deeds, bicycle safety, constructive activities and acts of kindness. Appropriate “offenses” might include helping another person or participating in a community- or police-sponsored event.
Although the reasons for being “ticketed” are varied, the end result is the same for every youngster: A free Slurpee drink and a smile for being a good kid. Each coupon can be redeemed for a small Slurpee drink at participating 7-Eleven stores.
