Homemade Tomato Sauce & Canning Workshop and Dinner

Looking for a fun Friday night out with friends or your spouse? Or want to learn a skill and meet new people?

Join Bridge Events for a hands-on workshop where you’ll learn to make and can homemade tomato sauce from handpicked tomatoes. Ocean County resident Melissa Bonifacio will share her family’s recipe, passed down through generations, and demonstrate her canning technique so you can stock your pantry and enjoy homemade sauce throughout the winter.

During the workshop, you’ll:

• Learn how to make and can your own tomato sauce
• Discover the story behind Melissa’s family recipe
• Enjoy a pasta dinner and dessert while getting to know your fellow attendees
• Take home your tomato sauce to finish cooking at home, along with a recipe card

This is a hands-on experience, and all material, ingredients, dinner and dessert are provided as part of your registration. 

Come with someone you know or on your own. Spend a Friday evening learning a classic tradition, sharing a meal, and meeting new people.
