East Brunswick Police To Host Public Safety Awards On Wednesday

Police Chief Frank LoSacco has invited residents to come in and support their local heroes at the awards ceremony.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Township’s police department will be hosting the 2019-2020 Public Safety Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m.

Each year the East Brunswick Police Department recognizes and honors sworn and non-sworn personnel, to show its gratitude for their dedication and hard work. The award is given for certain incidents and investigations that rise the standards of professionalism and dedication in the department.

Each year, personnel is nominated by their supervisors, and a review board decides which incidents/investigations will receive a department award.

The ceremony will take place at the Jo Ann Magistro Performing Arts Center, Hammarskjold Middle School, 200 Rues Lane, East Brunswick. This event is open to the public and Police Chief Frank LoSacco has invited residents to come in and support their local heroes and meet them.
