Talk on Climate Change In East Brunswick Public Library
John Miraglia will speak on the impact of climate change in New Jersey and discuss steps community members can take to address those issues.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – As climate change brings about extreme weather conditions across the globe, the call to make lifestyle changes has grown in the past few years. Tackling the issue of climate change is the Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission.
The group, in partnership with the East Brunswick Public Library, presents the Option Green program series.
As part of the series, John Miraglia of the Raritan Valley Group of the Sierra Club will be speaking on the environmental impact on the quality of life in the state, on Sep. 2, 7 p.m.

In this discussion, Miraglia will talk on topics like the impact of climate change on New Jersey; environmental factors affecting health, wildlife, energy availability, flooding in New Jersey; and practical steps community members can take to address those issues.
The discussion will be held virtually and is open to the public.

Mirgalia serves as membership chair of the Raritan Valley Group of the Sierra Club. He has also addressed environmental concerns through Trout Unlimited, Raritan Headwaters and New Jersey Fish & Wildlife.
