East Brunswick: Route 18 Bridge And Dunhams Corner Road Project Information

A public information meeting on a project to rebuild theRoute 18 bridge over Route 1 will be held Aug 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. at 78 Bayard St. in New Brunswick.

Also, on August 6, work will begin on the Dunhams Corner Road Phase I Project.

The project entails the reconstruction of a portion of Dunhams Corner Road (between Ryders Lane and Fern Road). Specifically, the installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, minor storm drainage improvements, and milling and resurfacing the roadway.

The township anticipates the project will be completed by Sept. 4.

During construction, it may be necessary for the contractor to close your driveway for short periods of time. Please park your vehicle on adjacent side streets should this become necessary.
