East Brunswick Schools Closed Monday, Jan. 25

24 inches of snow closes schools as East Brunswick continues to dig itself out.

East Brunswick, NJ - All public schools are closed Monday in East Brunswick, the township announced Sunday evening. East Brunswick recorded 24 inches of snow from the storm, according to the National Weather Service.

Rt. 18 was closed down Sunday morning due to low-hanging wires between Cranbury Road and Milltown Road, police said.

Also, all solid waste and recycling collection is canceled for Monday, as well. Solid waste pick-up for Monday will be collected Tuesday. If your regular recycling pickup is Monday, it has been rescheduled to Saturday, Jan. 30.

The recycling center is open Monday.
