East Brunswick came in No. 7, and finds itself in elite company: Princeton, Chatham, Millburn and West Windsor-Plainsboro are in the top 10.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - According to a new ranking released by Niche.com Tuesday, East Brunswick public schools are in the top 10 best public school systems in the state.
East Brunswick schools came in #7, finding itself in elite company: Princeton, Chatham, Millburn, Montgomery Township and West Windsor-Plainsboro are all perennial highly-ranked New Jersey school districts. Princeton was ranked #1 for the second year in a row.
According to Niche.com, the average student-teacher ratio in East Brunswick public schools was 12:1; the average teacher salary is $76,000 per year. There are 8,254 students in the district, and the district spends about $18,900 per student. High school graduation rates are 97 percent, and the average SAT score is 1,280(660 math/620 verbal) and the average ACT score is 29. The district also earned high marks for diversity.
