East Brunswick's Fourth Of July Town Party and Fireworks Tuesday, July 4

Plus a free kids' concert with Yosi Thursday night, June 29 at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center. Free face-painting and crafts.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — As we head into the July 4th long holiday weekend, here are all the fun things going on in East Brunswick:

Tonight, Thursday June 29: FREE Kids' Concert with Yosi, courtesy of Northfield Bank and Bright Horizons, begins at 7 p.m. at the Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road. Fun begins at 6:30 p.m. with free face painting by the East Brunswick Youth Council, free crafts with East Brunswick Girl Scouts, free cotton candy to the first 150 kids from Magic Maple and free pretzels to the first 150 kids from Philly Pretzel. Ice cream and beverages are available for purchase. Make sure you join us at 6:30 p.m. for a great evening.

Friday, June 30: 5th Grade Moving Up Pool Party at Crystal Springs, 7-10 p.m., East Brunswick 5th graders ONLY (going into 6th grade in Fall 2017). Fee is $10 for all kids and this is a drop-off/pick-up event chaperoned by East Brunswick Public School PTA volunteers, Recreation, Youth Council and Crystal Springs staff. Included with admission is DJ, dancing, singing, karaoke contests, pools & slides, basketball, pizza, walking tacos (ask the kids, they know what walking tacos are), water and pretzels. The snack bar is open for additional purchases. Prizes will be given away throughout the night. **IMPORTANT** Kids must be picked up at the gate by an adult - the kids may NOT leave the park on their own once inside. Parents may not sit in their car and call the kid on their phone to go outside. Cars may not park in Fire Zone for kids to walk out. This is for the safety of the kids and we appreciate your cooperation.

Tuesday, 4th of July!!!! - Celebrate our nation's Independence at the Community Arts Center on Tuesday, July 4th. Fun begins at 4 p.m. and includes a free wing-eating contest sponsored by the East Brunswick Hooters, a free House of Cupcakes Eating Contest, a free Stop n' Shop watermelon-eating contest, free bouncy rides and a free concert from the B Street Band (BRUCE!!!!!). The evening wraps up with a fireworks display courtesy of Route 18 Auto. Food vendors will be on hand for you to purchase food throughout the day. Fireworks will shoot at approximately 9:30 p.m. so don't wait, get there early and settle in for a great evening in East Brunswick.
