East Brunswick's Mira Vie Assisted Living Celebrates Grand Reopening
Mayor Brad Cohen joined facility leadership and chamber officials to mark renovations at the Route 18 senior care community
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Mayor Brad Cohen joined community and business leaders last week to cut the ribbon at Mira Vie at East Brunswick, an assisted living and memory care facility that celebrated a grand reopening following renovations to its spaces.
The facility, located on East Brunswick's "Medical Mile," is managed by Distinctive Living and offers what it describes as boutique-style housing and care options for seniors.
"We're judged by how we take care of those that are the most vulnerable among us," Cohen said at the ceremony. "I'm looking here in East Brunswick again at this institution as a place that values our seniors, treats them with respect, and allows them the opportunity to have whatever years are remaining to feel like they're valued and that they're a part of our community."

George Draghiceanu, chief operating officer of Distinctive Living, thanked the local leadership team, caregivers, nurses and support staff for their daily work serving residents.
"It's an honor and a privilege to celebrate the grand reopening and the many improvements that this community has experienced over the past couple of months," Draghiceanu said, "but more importantly, it's an honor to care for the residents in this area."
