Man Shot, Hospitalized In Paterson
A 34-year-old East Orange man was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound on Saturday night, according to media reports.
Police arrived at St. Joseph's University Medical Center after reports of a man with a gunshot wound, News 12 New Jersey said. Police located a potential crime scene near McBride Avenue and Mill Street.

Woman Killed, Infant Survives In GSP Crash
A 20-year-old woman was killed and an infant suffered minor injuries after both were ejected from a car in a multi-vehicle crash on the Parkway Friday.
Iisiz Lopez, 20, from New York, NY, died at the scene of the crash, and the infant suffered minor injuries.

Water Rescue, Thousands Without Power In NJ
Severe thunderstorms brought flooding and lightning across the state for a second straight day Saturday, with fire departments conducting multiple water rescues. More than 2,600 customers were without power across the state.

Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Stabbing 2
A 36-year-old Pleasantville man, Carlos Garcia-Moreno, was charged with attempted murder after two people were found with multiple stab wounds in Egg Harbor Township early Sunday. He faces additional charges including home invasion burglary and terroristic threats.

Tiger Shark Caught In Jersey Shore
A 12-foot, 700-to-800-pound tiger shark was caught and released by fishermen off an Ocean County beach, NJ.com reports. Around 30 people surrounded the shark to take photos and videos before it was let go. The shark was caught outside a guarded area at Island Beach State Park.
