Community Corner

EB Scout Karman Gill's Recycling Drive Initiative

Please help me keep our community clean and green!

Karman Singh Gill is working on an exciting new conservation project and needs your help! He is leading a collection effort with Scouts Troop 132 for several items that can be recycled or repurposed instead of just thrown into the landfill. Items being collected include:
o Worn-out U.S. Flags
o Broken crayons, Candles
o Eyeglasses / Sunglasses
o Used batteries
o Used notebooks
o Sneakers
o Used Clothing/ Soft toys
o Dried-out Markers/ Pens
o Tennis/ Pickleballs
Several items "need" to be recycled properly. For example, worn-out US Flags, batteries cannot be just thrown into the landfill. If you have any items, please bring to Aldersgate Church during 6:30pm-8:30pm any Tuesdays! Looking forward to your help in keeping our community clean and green!
Any questions, please reach out karman.scouting@gmail.com
Thank you!
Sincerely, Karman Gill
