Download ebooks and audiobooks

EAST BRUNSWICK, New Jersey – January, 2011 – Learn how to download free ebooks and downloadable audiobooks from the East Brunswick Public Library’s growing collection and other free resources online. Register now for the Library’s next ebook and audiobook class to be held on Monday, Jan. 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. and learn how to transfer ebooks to some of the major ereader devices including the Barnes and Noble Nook and Sony Reader. Find out how you can listen to audiobooks on many of the most popular mobile devices like the iPhone, iPod, Blackberry and Android phones.  NOTE: Due to software restrictions attendees will not be able to transfer downloadable books to the devices inside the Library. The instructor will demonstrate the steps and attendees will receive printed instructions for following the directions on their home computer.

Registration is required. A $5 late fee will be charged to cardholders and a $10 late fee will be charged to non-cardholders if participants cancel without 24 hour notice. Register at the Library or by visiting www.ebpl.org.

Prerequisites: Basic internet skills.
