Free Full-Course Korean Meal at the Library

may be no better way to learn about a country’s rich and unique cultural heritage than by sampling its food. Get a taste of what Korea is about during “Fifty Wonders of Korea,” on Sunday, Nov. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the .

Come by for an afternoon with the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project and enjoy a presentation that includes two films and a reenactment of a traditional Korean wedding ceremony. All participants will be treated to a free full-course Korean meal prepared by members of the project. From kimchi to dessert, you’ll have everything you need for a deeper appreciation of this wonderful country. This free event is for adults and children over 12. Space is limited so register by Oct. 25. This free program is sponsored by the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project and The Library.

Registration is first come first serve. Check in for the event will begin a ½ hour before the event. People who are wait-listed will be allowed into the event by the order of registration, if there is room, beginning at 2:10 p.m.
