Meet the Author: Gary Merrill, Ph.D.

Learn more about the human body during a visit from author Dr. Gary Merrill at theon Thursday, March 29, at 7 p.m.

During his visit, Dr. Merrill will discuss his book “Our Marvelous Bodies: An Introduction to the Physiology of Human Health.” The talk will focus on the human body as a marvelous wonder: designed to last a lifetime (75-100 years).  Understanding how our bodies function, beginning at the level of the organ systems, improves our ability to take care of our most valuable resource.  Join Dr. Merrill, Professor of Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Rutgers University, who has spent 35 years investigating and teaching physiology, for this extremely informative program.  This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
