National Novel writing Month Write-in

Join the Library as it takes part in National Novel Writing Month this year with “write-ins” scheduled for teen and adult writers throughout November. National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) challenges writers to begin a 50,000 word novel on midnight, Nov. 1, and finish it by 11:59 p.m. Nov. 30. The Library is kicking the event off with a party on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 2 to 5 p.m. Adult and teen writers are welcome to stop by for refreshments to talk with fellow writers. The library also has several write-ins planned. Writers can bring their lap tops and write, talk about writing, or share their work with others. There will be power outlets for lap tops and coffee will be available. Don’t forget, the Library also has a wrap-up party planned for Dec. 3 from 2 to 5 p.m. For more information on National Novel Writing Month visit www.nanowrimo.org.
