A semi-annual event, Freecycling Day offers area residents an opportunity to discard usable, unwanted household items in an environmentally friendly way instead of sending them to landfills. Attendees can browse for “finds” from small furniture and housewares to toys and tools. There is no charge to participate as a donor or “browser” in this “free trade” event. All items must be offered for free, for personal use and not for resale.
