Information and Assistance staff provide information, assistance, referral and advocacy for seniors, persons with disabilities
The Raritan Valley YMCA (www.raritanvalleyymca.org) has teamed up with the Middlesex County Office of Aging & Disabled Services at 732-745-3295 to increase public awareness of services and opportunities for county seniors, the disabled, and their care givers.
Information and Assistance is available for seniors, persons with disabilities, their caregivers and the general public needing access to services. Information and Assistance staff provides information, assistance, referral and advocacy for seniors, persons with disabilities, their caregivers and the general public needing access to services. Information and Assistance is the point of entry into the system. Upon contact with Information and Assistance staff, an intake is performed to screen consumers for County, state, and federal programs. Information and Assistance staff assists with connecting the consumer to services.
