Fraud Arrest At East Brunswick Best Buy
A couple tried to return $304 worth of video games, which police said were filled with blank CDs inside.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Two out-of-town people were charged with fraudulently trying to return items to the East Brunswick Best Buy on Rt. 18 on March 16.
Police say the Far Rockaway, NY couple tried to return $304 worth of video games and Airpods. Except store employees discovered that the Airpods were not made by Apple, and the video games at blank CDs inside.
Ebony Washington, 37, and Tony Davis, 46, were arrested and charged with conspiracy and theft by deception. Washington was released, but Davis was wanted on outstanding warrants in Union County, Middlesex County and Ocean County and was taken to the county jail.
