The Grinch Arrested In East Brunswick For Stealing Holiday Cheer

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — East Brunswick police arrested the Grinch on Saturday for trying to steal holiday cheer, Chief Frank LoSacco announced.
Police received reports of the Grinch prowling neighborhoods throughout East Brunswick on Saturday, looking to steal presents and ruin Christmas, authorities said.
“We deployed additional officers throughout the township in attempt to stop the Grinch before he succeeded in ruining Christmas for all,” LoSacco said.

“We are pleased to announce that the Grinch was caught “green handed” and taken into custody without incident.”

In a short video posted by the police department, the Grinch is seen with his hands behind his back, as he’s being led away by an officer. Another video released by the police department shows the Grinch in custody.
It’s not known if any charges were pressed at this time.
